While Lisa provides therapy to adults, teens, and children, her specialization is working with children and their families. She has undergone specialized coursework and supervised experience to earn the RPT-S (Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor) distinction. She is one of only a handful of play therapists in western South Dakota. Play therapy can help children adjust to anxiety, depressive symptoms, divorce, death, social skill deficits, ADHD, relocation, hospitalization, chronic illness, physical/sexual abuse, domestic violence, and natural disasters.
